The polypropylene packed lunch container seen below, has been designed to
look different. It is available in a range of colour schemes. It can be
purchased as a single unit or as multiple units, that link together like a
jigsaw. The linking of a number of units has no real practical application for an individual. However, the system may be useful for a family picnic, when more stored food may be needed. This system may look quite nice in a kitchen or a pantry. |

ADVANTAGES: A number of containers can be linked together forming a larger unit, with enough room for a packed lunch for family trips. It is an unusual, interesting shape, making it stand out from other packed lunch containers. It is lightweight, watertight and recyclable. The container is hygienic because it can be washed and used again. |
|
DISADVANTAGES: The jigsaw shape means that the efficiency of a square is lost to some extent. However, each unit can still hold a good amount of food. Polypropylene does not decompose and must be recycled or dumped in a land fill at the end of its useful life. |
