EXAMPLE FLOWCHART PRESENTATIONS
V. Ryan © 2005 - 2009

Below are drawn alternative ways of presenting a flowchart.

If you are taking a Graphics course, drawing a standard flowchart as shown on the earlier page will not enable you to access the higher grades. You need to present the flowchart in a more imaginative manner. Two examples are seen on this page. Instead of boxes being used for each stage they have been replaced with drawings / images relevant to the project being attempted. For example, the flowchart seen below is for a project based on a well known cartoon character. Consequently, the character is drawn on the page, interacting with each stage. The character is seen’ juggling’ the stages.

Consider the main theme or characters concerned with your project. Then design a flowchart that incorporates an aspect of the theme or a character.

Try out some rough ideas for the layout before you start constructing the final design of the flowchart.
