One important piece of information found on food packaging is that concerned with GDAs. Consumers are showing an increasing interest in knowing the recommended daily amount that they can consume of each ingredient. This is usually expressed as a percentage and called GDAs (Guideline Daily Amounts).
The symbol below is often seen on confectionery products, especially chocolate. Alongside the symbol is a chart that clearly shows the daily recommended amount of each ingredient used to produce the product.

The symbol below offers simple advice regarding the food contained within the packaging. This may include allergy advice or advice regarding the use of preservatives. It may also contain information that ensures that the consumer knows that nuts of nut extracts have included in the product. this could be vital if the customer has a nut allergy. Nut allergies can be very serious.

 
 
 
 
QUESTION:

Design a logo/symbol for a Food Facts section to be included on the packaging of a food product. The existing symbol (seen above) lacks imagination. Your new symbol should be easy to identify, interesting and imaginative.
Produce a rough design and then a colour rendered final design with explanatory notes.
