Many people remember going to the seaside during their holidays and swimming in the sea. The aim of this style of writing is to invoke these memories with the use of appropriate images and colour. |

STAGE ONE: Start with a basic style of lettering as shown opposite. |
 |
STAGE TWO: Add appropriate colour / shade. In this case yellow has been selected to reflect sun shine. |
 |
STAGE THREE: An image of the sun has been included, centrally positioned. |
 |
STAGE FOUR: The sea or seaside are often linked to the sun, as many people associate sun and sea together. Consequently, the deep blue sea has been added. |
 |
STAGE FIVE: Each letter is now adjusted to look as if they are ‘bobbing’ up and down on the waves. A shark’s fin has also been included, to add dramatic atmosphere. |
