| The toggle switch is the main switch to the circuit. It must be in the ‘on’ position for the circuit to work. It isolates the circuit if it is in the off position. | ||

| The relay is a type of switch. It is the physical link between two circuits. The first circuit on the left hand side is the one with the two push to make switches. The second circuit is on the right and has the motor. | ||
