WHAT IS CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION? When a product is continuously manufactured, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, on a production line, this is called Continuous Production. Continuous production usually takes place on a semi automated production line. It often involves ‘shifts’ of workers, so that manufacturing is non-stop.
