IDEA ONE

This shelter is made up of a number of waterproof sheets stitched together, based on the shape of shell roofs of the Sydney Opera House, which in turn was inspired by orange peel. It has a lightweight aluminium frame, that folds away and can be locked in position when the shelter is needed.

IDEA TWO

This shelter has a lightweight frame, that can be suspended from a tree or archway. The frame folds away after use and the canvas is stored in it’s own bag. This system is very quick to set up and take down. It is a stylish design, based on Jorn Utzon’s shell roof, of the Sydney Opera House. He based the shape of the roof on orange peel.
