|People around the world, have
very different lives and ways of living. People have different belief
systems (sometimes called religions, sometimes political beliefs) and
usually live their lives according to what they believe to be right and
wrong. They often follow the rules of their countries main religion /
culture or its political system.
There are countries that have very strict ways of living. For example, in Saudi Arabia, alcohol is banned and the consumption of alcohol is not permitted. There are countries where it is looked upon as wrong and even a crime, for a man and a woman to hold hands in public.
In our country (UK) and in most Western countries, alcohol is legal and we have a lot of freedom to express ourselves in public, within the limits of the Law.
Usually countries decide what is acceptable behaviour, through their religions or political beliefs.
We should never pass judgement on the way other people live their lives. We should respect other cultures and belief systems.
