I AM DESPERATELY TRYING TO CONTACT SCHOOLS IN FRANCE AND
MORE IN SPAIN.

SO, IF YOU THINK YOUR SCHOOL MIGHT LIKE BECOME INVOLVED, OR,
YOU WOULD JUST LIKE TO
KNOW MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT PLEASE CONTACT ME.

I have been running a project called Euro-Tec for about 4 years. We have two UK schools (in the northwest) working with two German schools and two Spanish schools. Each June we run a 4 day residential at Edge Hill College in Ormskirk, Lancashire. This helps in finishing the previous years work and starting the project for the following year.
All the work is based in the D&T curriculum and usually incorporates some electronics and control.
During the year the students work in pan European design teams. Each team having students from each country. They communicate by email and web cam during the project time.
The teachers meet together about 3 times per year to discuss progress and develop new projects. These meetings are hosted by each country in turn and are funded through the Comenius European Education programme. Other funding has to be found to support the residential.
