Many UK members of WATT have voiced their difficulties
with understanding the National Curriculum level statements at Key Stage
Three (11 to 14 years). The general feeling is that the statements for
each of the levels 3 to 8 / exceptional performance, are very difficult to
interpret. The WATT research team have worked hard to produce simplified
statements and also a project template. The template can be used by pupils
attempting the full range of levels whilst the simplified statements
should make it easier for teachers to plan and apply schemes of work. The
WATT research team have looked at the level statements and devised the
template with these in mind. |
