Stage Seven: Simple, single point perspective will be explained and the class will draw their product. Line drawing will be emphasised and shading using coloured pencils. Guidelines, vanishing pint and shade demonstrated. Notes will be added to the completed design. The session may begin with a number of basic perspective drawings.

N. Proportion will be explained - comparison of length against width using millimetres as the unit.

L. Simple notes added to completed design.

ICT. Notes can be added through the use of WP or DTP. Pupils shown examples on the internet.

HWK. Complete perspective design.

Select a product and draw it in single point perspective. Internet access to technology website.

ICT Access with DTP software.

Drawing and writing equipment.

Stage Eight: A final working drawing in third angle projection - front, side will be constructed, including dimensions. The pupils will be shown a complete package. The front, side and plan will be isolated and explained. (pupils will not be expected to include the plan view).

N. Scaling of drawings explained (1:2 etc..)

ICT. Website reference given relating to orthographic drawing. Pupils read and follow the animations.

HWK. Complete the working drawing.

Pupils add a plan view to their orthographic drawing. Internet access to technology website.
