Below are a set of exercises, to help pupils develop examination technique, when answering examination questions and maximising marks. Pupils often answer questions, without considering every aspect and without understanding exactly what is required. The first four exercises - each question is dissected into its constituent parts. Pupils are given simple guidance, as to how to go about the question, such as identifying key words and statements. Then they answer the question (self assessment / paired assessment can follow). The last three questions, expect more work from the pupils, as they identify the key words and statements, plus placing emphasis on the total marks awarded for each question. |
