V-folding mechanisms are very popular and they are simple to make. The angle used for the pop-up centre (90, 60 and 100 degrees) determines the way it stands up in the middle of the card, when it is opened. The pop-up has tabs that are used for gluing to either side of the card. Remember that the angle must be selected carefully. Draw the angle of bend on the card first before gluing the pop- up piece to it. |
