CDs / DVDs AND PACKAGING - BASICS

CDs / DVDs are used to store different types of data / information such as music, recordings, computer files, photos, video clips and even full length feature length films. They are all the same physical size and usually the same shape.

 
1. On the picture of the CD / DVD write the measurement of the diameter and radius, in millimetres - on the dimensions.

2. Estimate the thickness of a CD / DVD disk.

3. Opposite is a typical CD case. Measure the A, B and C dimensions (measurements), in millimetres. Write them alongside the picture.
