Why do you think extrusion blow
moulding is a suitable industrial process, for the manufacture of the soap
dispenser? Include at least three reasons. |
|
The soap dispenser has a very thin LDPE
wall and extrusion blow moulding is ideal for this type of manufacture. The soap dispenser will be manufactured in large batches. EBM is very fast and can be automated and it can be regarded as the most efficient manufacturing process. Moulds for injection moulding are made very accurately, normally out of steel. They are very expensive, although if used to manufacture large volumes of soap dispensers, it is cost effective. Every finished moulded LDPE soap dispenser bottle should be the same, due to the manufacturing process. The quality standards of this process is high, with few finished products being rejected. |
