I am going to design and make a
recycling bin. The bin will be mobile so that it can be moved around the
play ground and stored away easily. It will be lightweight and
manufactured from recycled materials. The bin will be designed as to
create interest and it will be interesting to look at (it will be
aesthetically pleasing). It will be possible to open the lid without the need to reach up, ensuring that young pupils are able to use the bin. It will be safe as it will be ‘difficult’ to trap hands and fingers. All sharp edges will be removed before distribution to the customer. The handle will be ergonomically designed so that it is comfortable when moving on its wheels. The bin will be stable and extremely unlikely to tip over even in extreme conditions. The bin will encourage recycling and an understanding of the need to protect the environment. |
