A very important component on most PICAXE microcontroller circuits is the ‘jumper switch’. This has to be set to a particular position when downloading a programme. Alternatively, the jumper switch must be changed over when using the circuit. The jumper switch is a simple switch used in many electrical devices. For example, computer motherboards often have jumper switches which allow the basic setup of the computer to be altered. |
